My painting is inspired by the High Andes, the geographical environment where I come from. The monumental presence of the Andes and the intensity of the light make a deep impression in me, there I experience the Indian World, the spiritual relationship between the Indian and the land, between Mankind and Mother Earth.

I have also explored this special relationship in a series of paintings of the pre-Columbian architecture. .

I believe that the Indian is a spiritual ecologist and, as my contribution for the Third Millennium., I hope that my recent work communicates an awareness of the great issue of our times, an awareness of our attachment to this planet, this earth our home.
